Return Form and Function to Your Smile
If you are missing a tooth, or multiple teeth, you are not alone. Over 178 million Americans are missing at least one tooth. As common as tooth loss is, it is vital to your oral health that you replace any missing teeth as soon as possible. Teeth do more than just add to your smile or help you eat; the tooth root stimulates your jaw bone for continued growth, which holds the tooth firmly in place. Without this stimulation due to a missing tooth, the jaw bone will begin to recede, possibly causing a change in your appearance, bite and surrounding teeth. We offer a solution to tooth loss in the form of dental implants. Considered the gold standard of tooth replacement, dental implants provide both aesthetic appeal and full function back to your mouth, including preventing jaw bone deterioration. This advanced tooth replacement provides superior results, especially when handled by our experienced doctors and staff.

Dental Implant Process
We utilize state-of-the-art technology and the experience of our talented doctors and staff to provide patients with leading dental implant treatment. After your consultation with our doctor, we will take a detailed image of your jaw and oral structures using a cone beam CT scanner (CBCT). The CBCT scan gives us an in-depth view on your jaw’s bone volume and the location of nerves and tooth roots. Having adequate bone volume is key to dental implant placement, and if you are lacking bone, we may perform a bone graft to restore what is missing. We create a computer-generated surgical guide when placing your implants. Guided implant surgery takes all the guesswork out of dental implant placement, and gives you more predictable and safer results. Dr. Stephen Davis will place a titanium implant post into your jaw at the site of the missing tooth. This implant will take a few months to heal, but will fuse to your jaw bone and act just like a natural tooth root. We then utilize a trusted dental lab to create a lifelike crown that will mimic your natural teeth. Once your dental implant has healed, one of our skilled doctors will restore the tooth by attaching the crown to the implant post with an abutment piece. With a restored dental implant, your tooth will have an aesthetic appearance and full functionality.
Your Dental Implant Options
Dental implants blend seamlessly into the smile to replace missing teeth with screw-like implants that adhere with the jaw bone. As you bite and chew with the attached dental crown, the implant provides the same bone stimulation as a natural tooth root, which keeps your bone levels healthy and protects the integrity of your smile.
Single dental implant: If you are missing even one tooth, your oral health is at risk. Without a tooth to stimulate the jaw bone, bone atrophy begins to occur which can lead to shifting of other teeth or increased risk of infection. We can replace your missing tooth with a natural-looking implant and crown the same day a tooth is removed.
Multiple dental implants: Missing more than one tooth is common and should be addressed immediately. Unlike a tooth supported bridge which relies on surrounding teeth to support the restoration, dental implants provide a healthy, more natural alternative to bridges, which will never shift, decay or require root canal treatment.
Full arch dental implants: If you have dentures and are looking for a more stable, healthier alternative, we can complete your smile in one visit. This option uses a number of dental implants (as few as four) surgically placed in the jaw bone to support a custom, natural-looking prosthesis. There are no pastes or need to worry about slipping dentures; this option is designed to stay in place.
